La Resistencia,1997-
Verano del 97, charlas, debates y acapellas en el Parque Viejo de Badia eran habituales a diario, era tiempo de La Resistencia: Jauría, Falsalarma y Psicohiphopatas eran los grupos que le daban nombre. Aunque ya habían salido algunos discos importantes en nuestro país, era época de maquetas, esas cintas de cassette autoeditadas que se movían por aquel entonces (vía correo ordinario) mucho más que los discos distribuidos por algunos sellos de hoy en día, época de una defensa a ultranza del hiphop al que muchos ya habían intentado meter mano (por suerte sin éxito) antes.
En nuestro loro sonaba Rakim,Iam,el Soul Assassins de Muggs o Tha Alhaholiks y su hip hop drunkies junto a Ol’Dirty.
Nos sentíamos los amos de las calles, de los parques, como un león en la selva, hoy con tan solo un ratón muchos creen que lo saben todo. Aunque les falta un detalle en su aprendizaje, ‘la calle’, esa que acanalla pero también enseña, ese elemento tan importante del que nació nuestra cultura.
