Si es cierto que desde que se separara de la orbita de Timbaland Ginuwine no ha obtenido tanto reconocimiento como con aquel magistral “The Bachelor”, este “A Man’s Thoughts” es un trabajo de un madurito r&b crooner. Como productores destacan el “estoy en todas” Brian Michael Cox, The Underdogs y Neo-Timbaland (sí, que este no es Timbaland que nos lo han cambiado!). Inmejorable carta de presentación del lp “Last Chance”, donde vemos a un Ginuwine dándonos sus registros habituales en una bonita balada con el sello de Mr Cox (esos arreglos de piano y esos kits de batería son seña de identidad). El resto del lp continúa esa línea de medios-tiempos (un par de ellos bailables) y baladas principalmente basadas en piano y voz. Decepcionante (para mi gusto) el tema con su pareja de viejos amigos Timbaland y Missy Elliot, ya que podría ser perfectamente uno de los temas del lp de Madonna con Tim Mosley detrás, y esto lejos de ser mejor o peor estilísticamente hablando, me parece fuera de lugar y que rompe toda la línea de este disco.
